Jack Yetman
Head Trainer, Owner

As a former athlete, I realized the necessity of a holistic approach in my athletic endeavors that did not just include my skills, but also the importance of taking proper care of my body. I sustained multiple injuries throughout my time playing lacrosse, one of those being career ending. By not realizing the significance of nurturing my physical abilities, obtaining my goal of furthering my athletic career quickly became out of reach. As a result of my personal journey, my goal is to ensure that you are confident in your mental and physical ability, minimize injury, and promote success. I founded DMV Performance to make sure that young, aspiring athletes will never have to experience this path. Certification in personal training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Erik Assarsson
Assistant Trainer

Erik developed a deep passion for fitness from an active childhood, which was further strengthened by his involvement in high school sports such as hockey, lacrosse, and basketball. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Coaching Education from James Madison University. With over three years of personal training experience, Erik’s coaching approach highlights the strong link between mental and physical well-being. His expertise spans hypertrophy/strength training, calisthenics, speed/agility/quickness, stability and balance, and creating personalized behavioral strategies for a given goal. Erik believes that our mindset and emotions significantly influence our performance.
